Rossini Club’s Winter/Spring 2018 season gets an emotional start on Sunday, January 28 with guest performer and regionally known tenor turned baritone, David Goulet joining soprano Danielle Vayenas, along with guest pianist Kathleen Scott in a performance of the famous Act II scene from Verdi’s La Traviata. The concert also features pianist Steven Blumenthal playing
Chopin’s Polonaise-Fantasie; and Luette Saul, soprano and Mark Braun, piano performing Songs of Manuel de Falla.
And enjoy a brief reception after the concert where you can meet our performers.
The concert takes place at 3:00 p.m. at the Cathedral Church of St. Luke, 143 State Street, Portland. Suggested donation $10/5 seniors (students are admitted free of charge)

The Portland Rossini Club is a group of Maine musicians that presents a monthly concert series of classical music in Portland, Maine. The club also runs a competitive music scholarship program.
Prospective performing members are chosen by audition and include professional performers, music teachers and skilled amateurs. An elected Board of Directors runs the Portland Rossini Club.
